The Hebrides International Film Festival (HIFF) is now in its’ seventh year. HIFF 2021 focuses specifically on the impact of climate change on Island communities.
The films tie in to environment and rural themes, and also reflect on how we live in the natural world and how in tune with nature we are. The films range from Academy Award Winning dramas to provoking documentaries and a small children’s programme. HIFF 2021 wants to inspire people to look more closely at the environments around them and to be inspired by real practical solutions.
After a year of lockdown, we are pleased to not only screen films at our rural venues and cinemas across the Western Isles, but for the first time have a curated selection of films available online on a national basis at Indy on Demand.
